Six Ukrainian servicemen wounded in Donetsk region

Russian-backed separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions 91 times in last day

Six Ukrainian soldiers were wounded on Sunday in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine. No servicemen were killed overnight.

According to Ukrainian military spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, four servicemen sustained injuries in Avdiivka, which remains the hottest point of fighting. Two others were blown up by a landmine in the village of Novhorodske.

On Sunday combined Russian-separatist forces mounted a record number of attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Ukrainian army positions came under fire 91 times.
