Very positive opinion on this report has already been received in the Committee on Foreign Affairs
On September 26, the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs will approve the positive report for Ukraine, prepared by the rapporteur Maria Gabriel (Bulgaria), UNIAN reports referring to Croatian member of the European Parliament (MEP), the head of EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee Andrej Plenkovic's interview with Segodnya newspaper.
According to Plenkovic, a "very positive opinion" on this report has already been received in the Committee on Foreign Affairs, which was prepared by MEP from Poland Jacek Saryush-Wolski, who constantly promotes the idea of Ukraine. After that, this issue will be included in the agenda of the plenary session of the European Parliament, he said.
MEP also said that the committee would do its best to achieve a positive result and a positive vote. Plenkovic said that the only question EP had to understand was a problem about the migration crisis and refugees. The issues of visa liberalization are associated with it, which complicates the process, he stressed.
As reported earlier, EU Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn said the European Union will cancel visas for Ukrainians next month.
