But it would be nice if he and Putin could get along, US President-elect said
Donald Trump has rejected the idea that any warming of relations with Russia would be called a ‘reset', according to an article, published by the New York Times.
He pointed at the criticism that Mrs. Clinton had received, following her unsuccessful attempt to improve relations between the two countries.
‘I wouldn't use that term after what happened', Trump said.
The President-elect also said, "it would be nice if he and Vladimir Putin could get along."
He also said that he had some ‘strong ideas' on how to deal with the war in Syria, refusing to specify his vision.
‘We have to end that craziness that's going on in Syria', he said.
The inauguration of Trump as the 45th US President is scheduled to take place on January 20, 2017.
