U.S. Assistant Secretary of State to arrive in Kyiv on April 25

Victoria Nuland will discuss reforms and Minsk deal with Ukrainian leaders 

On April 25, United States Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will arrive in Ukraine's capital to meet the country's leaders, representatives of civil society and discuss reforms and Minsk ceasefire deal implementation.

The U.S. Department of State announced her visit to Ukraine on Monday, April 25.

"On April 25, Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel from Hannover, Germany, to Kyiv, Ukraine, to meet with senior Ukrainian government officials, political party leaders, Rada (Ukraine's Parliament) members, and civil society representatives. She will discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including reform priorities and Minsk implementation".

Victoria Nuland will also meet with Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, according to spokesman for Prime Minister Dmitry Stolyarchuk, who tweeted

"On Tuesday, April 26, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman will meet with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to discuss support for reforms in Ukraine".
