Ukraine and Iran to boost cooperation in all areas

Tehran expresses support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity

Kyiv and Tehran have agreed to intensify cooperation in all areas of bilateral relations.

It was part of the May 29 bilateral meeting between Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

"The parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral relations. The parties agreed to intensify Ukrainian-Iranian ties in all areas of cooperation," said Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry informed that "the Iranian side stressed that no third party will affect the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Iran."

Also during the talks Tehran expressed support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Pavlo Klimkin's visit to Iran will last May 29-30.
