Ukraine intel spots enemy reconnaissance group near Avdiivka

Russian-backed separatist forces continue shelling Ukraine army positions

A sabotage and reconnaissance group of Russian proxies has been spotted near the industrial zone of the town of Avdiivka, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.

"The enemy has been intensively shelling of ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] forces near the industrial zone of Avdiivka, using 82mm and 120mm mortars. A sabotage and reconnaissance group was spotted in that area," the report says.
