Ukraine's missile complexes were successfully tested, including C-300 air defence launcher

The second round of Ukraine's guided missile firing exercises in the Odessa region near the Russian-occupied Crimea borderline have been successfully held, the Chief of General Staff Victor Muzhenko claimed on Friday.

"The Armed Forces has made a powerful step towards increasing their combat efficiency and obtaining abilities to protect their country. Ukraine's air frontiers are inviolable!,"  he writes on his Facebook page.

During the exercises, the Ukrainian military tested air defence systems restored at Ukrainian defence enterprises, including C-300 missile launchers.

"We have tested the hardware with an extended service life. Our Ukrainian enterprises  maintained and serviced the hardware, enabled its modification to a degree, and broadened the range of its use," Ukrainian Air Force Commander Serhiy Drozdov said.
