Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office has already sent an extradition warrant
The court in Panama arrested Vladyslav Kaskiv for 40 days, according to the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yevhen Yenin.
Vladyslav Kaskiv is a former head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine, who is accused of public funds embezzlement.
"Because of the information reported by some mass media regarding pre-trial restrictions for Kaskiv, I want to say that he was detained up to 40 days under the decision of the Panamanian court as of August 25, 2016", Yenin wrote on his FB page.
