Ukrainian president appoints new Chief of Staff

Head of Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin will be replaced by Ihor Rainin, former head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration

President Poroshenko announced the resignation of Lozhkin during a meeting of National Reforms Council. Borys Lozhkin will become a head of National Investments Council and remain the President's adviser.

National Investment Council should become a powerful instrument of shaping the investments politics of Ukraine, said Petro Poroshenko. He emphasized that Borys Lozhkin remains a political "heavy-weight" and has a significant influence on economic processes in the country.

Borys Lozhkin worked as the Head of Presidential Administration since June, 2014. He is a founder of UMH Group media holding. In 2013, Lozhkin and his partners sold the holding to Sergiy Kurchenko.
