Ukraine calls for urgent consultations concerning Russian allegations

UN Security Council convenes for an urgent meeting behind the closed doors to discuss growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine. The Ukraine mission to the United Nations requested the consultations. Latest developments in Crimea will be discussed, as well as Russian provocations.

Yelchenko drew parallels between the current situation and that of August 2008, when Russia invaded Georgia.
