Andrew Mitchell, a former cabinet minister, has likened the Russian bombing in Syria to Nazi attacks in Spain in the 1930s
Andrew Mitchell called the emergency Commons debate on the humanitarian situation in Aleppo. This is the first time during several months that British parliament discusses the situation in Syria.
Mr. Mitchell accused Russia of further aggravating the humanitarian situation in the country and called the MPs to "single Russia out like a pariah. The Kremlin, like any bully, is winning credibility if no-one stands up to them."
Just over the recent weeks, Russia was accused of deliberate bombing the UN convoy and several hospitals in Aleppo. Kremlin declines all the deeds, claiming it was fighting terrorists, not targeting civilians.
