Trump says Putin better leader than Obama

The Republican presidential nominee praises Russian president

Very good relations with Russia - that is what Donald Trump promised his voters in case he becomes the new US President. Republican party nominee says he can improve relations with Vladimir Putin after the elections.

Donald Trump insists Putin 'has been a leader far more than our president [Obama] has been.' Performing at a Commander-in-Chief forum, Trump thanked Putin for calling him "brilliant".

This is not the first time Trump supports Russian strongman and his international politics. He already promised to recognise Crimea annexation and to lift the sanctions against Russia.

The presidential elections in the USA are getting closer - they are scheduled for November. The main candidates are Donal Trump and Hillary Clinton.
