Ukrainian military analyst and blogger Olexandr Kovalenko explained the reason of this effect. He paid attention that Russian media blame Ukrainian shipbuilders, who built ‘Admiral Kuznetsov' back in the Soviet era at the Black Sea Shipyard in Mykolaiv. Analyst reminds that the very same Ukrainian workers also built two ‘Kuznetsov's' sister ships, also built in Ukrainian Mykolaiv, which now are Chinese ‘Liaoning' and Indian ‘Vikramaditya'. To make his thought clear Kovalenko published photos of engine rooms of all three ships.

Kovalenko explained: "Yes, the theme is controversial, but I would like to show you some pictures – namely boilers of aircraft carriers "Admiral Kuznetsov", "Lyaolin" and "Vikramaditya". Determine which photo shows which boiler – it's not difficult. And now answer the question are Ukrainians guilty of this or it's just the absence of maintenance service of strategically important object? And they still threaten the world with this... Actually it's a miracle that no spontaneous combustion happened during the sail to the Syrian coast!"

But still, this rusty and smoky ship as well as others of Russian 'Death fleet', are still deadly weapons. By now Russian and Assad regime forces appear to have launched a widespread offensive across Syria, with airstrikes pounding east Aleppo for the first time in weeks and aircraft and missiles striking targets across the country, The Telegraph reports.

The 275,000 people trapped by regime troops inside the besieged city of Aleppo have enjoyed relative quiet since mid-October but on Tuesday afternoon the skies were once again filled with war planes and the city shook from bombs.

The Syrian military said it was attacking rebel groups inside east Aleppo while Russia said it was launching strikes elsewhere from the ‘Admiral Kuznetsov', its only aircraft carrier, which arrived off the Syrian coast over the weekend.
