Two cyclist groups from eastern and western parts of Ukraine met at Maidan Square in Kyiv
East or West, Ukraine is united. In view of recent Constitutional anniversary Ukrainian cyclists organized a so-called "vyshyvanka run".
Two huge bicycle groups headed towards each other from Kharkiv in the east and Uzhgorod in the west. The cyclists say they wanted to show the beauty and the variety of Ukrainian nature, calling the others to do the same. Eventually, the sportsmen met in the middle of the route on Maidan square in the historical centre of Kyiv.
Now the tourists from the west are set to continue their journey in the eastern direction. Those coming from Kharkiv are already looking forward to see the landscapes of Carpathian mountains.
