Vice President assures Belgium of U.S. support
The United States is prepared to give Belgian authorities a range of support to help its European ally fight and to prevent acts of terrorism further deadly attacks.
That is according to U.S. Vice President Joe Biden: "On behalf of the president, I can say that we are prepared to provide any and all information, capablity, technology, anything we have that can be value-added to their fight and they will prevail. I'll tell you what they have backbones like ramrods, man, look at them. They are going to school. They are not letting terrorism win and what they really want to do is change the way we live and you're never going to let that happen."
Tuesday attacks on Brussels, the home of the European Union and NATO, sent shockwaves across Europe and around the world, leaving authorities racing to review security at airports and on public transport.
