Now animals feel more comfortable
Three thousand square metres of the Odesa zoo now look closer to nature.
Painters created artwork resembling natural landscapes to make zoo animals feel more comfortable. Every picture is based on the right type of environment for the animal that is in the enclosure.
That's why lions and giraffes will live in the African savanna and Himalayan bear near mountain foothills.
Artists say prior to decide what to paint they conducted a lot of research. Animals, seem to be responding to the new decor quite positively.
