On November 21, Ukraine marks the Day of dignity and freedom, in memory of the start of Maidan uprising
All the country today remembers those who gave their lives to Ukraine's freedom and those who fought for Ukrainian dignity during revolutions - and continues to do it now.
The third anniversary of Revolution is commemorated in all parts of Ukraine with people laying wreaths to monuments of deceased heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. In the evening many people plan to gather at squares where protests were held back in 2013.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in commemoration events. He decorated Ukrainian soldiers with medals for their distinguished service protecting Ukraine at Donbas.
During the event, President Poroshenko promised to provide the land for building the Museum of Revolution of dignity, at the very place where the protesters were shot in February 2014.
Ukraine Today talked to the director of future museum Ihor Poshyvaylo about the perspectives of quick getting a home for the exposition.
Meanwhile, commemorations go on in different cities all over Ukraine. In Kyiv, Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Croatia, Volodymyr Groysman and Andrey Plenkovich, laid flowers to Heavenly Hundred Heroes Cross.
