Denmark is the world's happiest country, Burundi is the least happy

Ukraine listed 117th in the U.N. World Happiness Report

The Danish are the happiest people in the world according to the annual U.N. report. Together with Switzerland and Iceland, Denmark is on the top-list of happiness survey.

Alongside with high GDP level, the residents have a good deal of life expectancy, few health problems, and strive for charity. Norway and Finland are out of the top-three, but are still in the first ten happiest nations on the planet.

The bottom of the list instead contains mainly sub-Saharan countries and Middle East region, for instance, Syria, Afghanistan, or Madagascar. In total, the researchers claim, the subjective wellbeing depends mostly on the state's stability. This year Ukraine took the 117th position.
