Policewoman attacked in Kyiv, attacker detained

Drunken passer-by beat a policewoman, a deputy head of the National Police company

Drunken man attacked deputy head of National Police company in Kyiv, the officer was soon taken to hospital. The attack happened when the female officer was documenting a road accident, Censor.NET reports.

As seen on the photo, published by citing dtp.kiev.ua, patrol car license plate is number 1130 and patrol team is number 0104. The incident happened last night, on Nov.19. An investigation team is working on a scene.

As was reported later, an attacker was arrested and taken to the Holosiivskyi police department.

"A drunken bast### beat up the policewoman with no reason at all and had no relation to the car accident. He went out on the road, provoked the conflict, and knocked the patrolwoman three times. He was immediately detained by her partner and other patrolmen,'' the head of Ukraine National Police Communications Department Artem Shevchenko wrote on Facebook.
