Ukraine's first memorial dedicated to soldiers who have died fighting in the Donbas warzone, has been unveiled in Kryvyi Rih.

The monument honours 'cyborg' Yevgen Abrosimov, a fighter who died during the Battle for Donetsk International Airport.

The sculpture is placed between two airplane wings, a reminder of the Ukrainian military personnel who died when Russian-backed separatist forces shot down an IL-76 plane in June 2014.
