Iryna Galay reaches the top of the world's highest mountain

28-year-old Iryna Galay from Zakarpattya climbed the top of Mount Everest to become the first Ukrainian woman on the world's highest peak.
The news was reported by Ukrainian media referring to a Kharkiv alpinist club. According to the report, Iryna was on Everest's top at 4 a.m. local time, while another Ukrainian lady, Tetyana Yalovchak is also on her way to the summit of the highest mountain on Earth.

Iryna is not a professional climber, she became interested in alpinism only three years ago when she made a bet with her colleague that she would be able to conquer Mount Kazbek, and she did it.

Since then she decided to scale new heights and one day ventured on the most dangerous journey.
