Five Ukrainians die in car crash in Russia

A van collided with a truck in Kursk region

At least five Ukrainian citizens have died and four were injured when a passenger van collided with a commercial truck in Russia's Kursk region that borders northern Ukraine, Russian Tass reported referring to the sources in local emergency services.

"The minivan and the truck collided in the village of Verkhniy Lyubazh in Fatezh District. There were 12 passengers in the van, five of them died, and four, including a child, were taken to a clinic," the source said.

The cause of the traffic accident is under investigation.
