Savchenko's supporters claim Nadiya and other captured Ukrainians must be released
Across the world activists are showing support for Nadiya Savchenko and other Ukrainians currently held in Russian jails.
In Paris demonstrators with Ukrainian and EU flags carried banners calling on the Kremlin to release Savchenko along with other political prisoners - Oleh Sentsov, Olexandr Kol'chenko, Mykola Karpyuk, and Stanislav Klyh.

Another protest took place close to the newly-established Russian orthodox culture centre in the French capital.
The Ukrainian community in Australia also joined its European colleagues. Mass flash mobs demanding freedom for Savchenko were held in the states of Sydney and Victoria.
