Italian artist completes the world's highest mural wall in Kyiv

Artist was inspired by Ukraine's coat of arms 

Italian artist 2501 has completed the mural painting on the wall of the 24-storey building in Kyiv's residential district.

This was reported by a public organization ArtUnitedUs on Facebook.

"Italian artist 2501 has completed his wall mural in Prospect Mayakovskoho 1B. The building has a height of 26 stories - including 24 residential and 2 technical floors. The artist has embedded the word ‘Freedom' in his artwork, he was was inspired by Ukraine's coat of arms of Ukraine. His artwork is one of the highest murals in the world (at least in Europe, for sure)," said a statement.

The artist started working on his wall mural on 4 May.

According to ArtUnitedUs, 200 walls will be painted during the next two years, starting from Kyiv and without boundaries around the world.
