Less Russian TV shows in Ukraine, the new law says

President Poroshenko signed a law on excluding Russian TV and radio shows from the European content quota

Russian TV and radio products are excluded from the so-called European quota. Before the new law was implemented, they were being bought at low price as a part of European content.

From now on, Ukrainian TV channels cannot buy cheap and often low-quality Russian products as part of a European content quota.
