Malaysia says Mozambique debris most likely from MH370

Fragments believed to be from a passenger jet that disappeared nearly two years ago were found earlier this month off the coast of Africa

Malaysia said on Thursday two pieces of plane debris discovered by authorities earlier this month from Mozambique were highly likely to have come from Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

Malaysia's Transport Minister said an investigation team had found both pieces to be consistent with panels from a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft.

MH370 disappeared with 239 passengers and crew on board shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur bound for Beijing in March 2014.
