More than half a million kids need help in Donbas - UNICEF

Thousands of children are left with no home or school to return to

Over half a million children in Ukraine's war-torn Donbas region need immediate help. This is according to UNICEF.

The aid organisation says at least one in five schools has been destroyed. Same goes for kindergartens. UNICEF staff claim more than three hundred thousand kids are unable to continue their education.

Nearly the same number of children cannot go back home because the building were damaged in the war.
