Owner of 'The Magic Shop' says he can no longer afford the rent
The music studio where David Bowie recorded his final album has closed down after nearly three decades in New York City.
"Magic Shop" owner Steve Rosenthal says rising costs are to blame.
The studio is famous for its clients, which included Coldplay and the Foo Fighters. Bowie, in failing health, recorded his last album "Blackstar" here in January, shortly before his death from liver cancer.
