Netherland's Queen Maxima seen in Rio dressed in traditional Ukrainian embroidery

Queen Maxima wears embroidered vyshyvanka dress by Ukrainian designer Vita Kin

The Dutch royal family, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima and their three daughters, were recently seen in Rio supporting Netherland's national Olympic team.

Arriving to watch the women's balance beam finals, Queen Maxima was pictured wearing a Ukrainian traditional embroidered dress.

Dressed in a light beige and blue vyshyvanka, the Queen's dress was handmade by Ukrainian designer Vita Kin.

Last year, The Telegraph named the embroidered garments by Vita Kin the top choice for summer. Vita Kin's designs can now be found in high-end department stores like Collette, Farfetch and Bergdorf Goodman.
