Pysanka, a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg decorated by Donbas refugee Taisiya Drugakova, got the top honour at the Festival of Easter eggs in Kyiv. The vote was open to public attending the open-air exhibit.

According to the organisers of the festival, each visitor could vote for his or her favourite pysanka by attaching a ribbon to its stand.

The pysanka with the view of Donetsk prior to its occupation by the Russian-backed separatist forces was recognized as the best one. The decorated egg collected about 5400 ribbons.
