Ukrainians in 60 countries protest at Russian aggression in Donbass region
Protests titled "Stop Putin's War 2.0" are unfolding throughout the world on Friday, October 10th.
Antiwar meetings bearing "Stop Putin! Stop the War" slogans are being held in Ukraine and also in the U.S., the EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, China, and Georgia.
"Although now the events in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine are scarcely covered by world's media, the hybrid war launched by Putin never stopped and continues to claim lives", the organizers say on their Facebook event pages.
Protesters intend to rally at Russian diplomatic missions and administrative buildings in their countries of residence. They demand complete withdrawal of Russian forces and weapons from Ukraine, strengthening the OSCE observing mission in the war zone and total release of Ukrainian citizens held hostage in Russia and Crimea.
Meetings have been held in Rome, Sydney, Adelaide and Wellington. More and more cities and countries join them all around the world.
