Refugees block Greece-Macedonia border crossing to protest deportation

Protest action caused severe disruption to local traffic

A group of refugees blocked the main road leading to a border crossing on the Greece-Macedonia border, causing severe disruption to local traffic.

Greek riot police confronted the refugees, forming a human shield between the desperate refugees and angry motorists to avoid possible clashes.
