Rostov-on-Don airport reopens after Flydubai crash

Tragedy claimed lives of 62 people

Russia's Rostov-on-Don airport reopened on Monday morning after the runaway was cleared of debris following a plane crash on Saturday.

The Boeing 737-800, operated by Dubai-based budget carrier Flydubai, crashed early Saturday morning at the Rostov-on-Don airport, killing all 62 people on board. Eight Ukrainian's were among the dead when the flight crashed on its second attempt to land.

Russian investigators are now examining the cause of the tragedy - crew error, a technical failure and bad weather conditions are among the theories.
