Second day of Savchenko's hearings started

Nadiya arrived at the court building, accompanied by 16 gunmen

Nadiya Savchenko has arrived at a court in the Russian town of Donetsk for the second and final day of her sentencing.

Earlier Tuesday morning a convoy consisting of 16 gunmen transported her into the court house.

Today the verdict, written on more than two hundred pages, is set to be finally announced.

The judge started reading the document yesterday but after 7 hours only reached the half way point. If found guilty Nadiya faces uptoi 23 years in Russian jail.
