U.S. and Ukraine are the most hostile countries towards Russia - poll

Russians claim the U.S. and Ukraine to be their main antagonists.

Half of Russia's population claims Ukraine is willing to destroy the Russian Federation

The Russians consider Ukraine and the U.S. their main enemies. This is according to the social survey about Russians' attitude towards the foreigners.

Nearly three quarters of respondents (72%) are sure the United States are the most hostile state. Ukraine is the second with 48%. The third member of top-3 is Turkey. According to the poll, 29% of Russians claim to be considered by the Turks as enemies.

On the contrary, Belarus is recognized by Russians as the most important and truly friend, along with Kazakhstan and China on 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The unexpected fourth 'friend', according to the survey is Syria with the support of 10% of respondents.

Recently the sociologists have investigated the Russians' average point of view on whether Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko should fully serve her sentence. Nearly half of the respondents' sample answered affirmatively.
