Transport operator explained that the claim will be treated according to usual business practice
Transport operator "Ukraerorukh" insists that it returned the Belarus plane according to international rules. Now the companies work to resolve the issue. They need to establish the amount of damage. Ukrainian Ukraeroruh already says that the sum will not be significant.
The incident happened on October 21. The liner of Belavia airlines was forced to return to Zhulyany airport in Kyiv. The airlines claimed a dispatcher threatened their pilot with jets.
The reason to return the plane was because of one of the passengers, Armen Martyrosyan. He is a blogger and used to be a member of "antimaidan" movement. Security Service searched him before he was detained for interrogation. Several hours later he was freed and left again for Belarus. Now Martyrosyan is going to sue Ukrainian authorities because of the brief detainment.
