There, Mriya was greeted by the whole airport staff who gathered on the tarmac to view its arrival.

This is the first long-distance journey for Mriya in 2016.

The aircraft arrived in India from Turkmenistan in Central Asia, and after a 24-hour stop in Hyderabad will proceed to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and thereafter to its final destination Perth, Australia.

There are only a few airports in the world which can accept this kind of aircraft since it is even bigger than the world's largest passenger transport carrier, the Airbus A380 double-decker plane.
