Two Ukrainian ‘Antonov' An-32s helping to overcome the consequences of arsons near Haifa
Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported about the first day of firefighting operation in Israel. Kyiv send to the country, suffering from the consequences of massive arsons, two ‘Antonov' An-32P special firefighter planes.
"During the Nov. 26 two An-32P firefighter aircrafts of State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) assisted in extinguishing forest fires that have arisen in the territory of the State of Israel. Planes made 4 drops of water (total 32 tons) in the mountainous areas near the city of Haifa. Turkey's aviation is working together with the Emergency Service aircrafts, since the Turkish and Ukrainian crews have experience in extinguishing fires in mountainous areas," official DSNS report reads.
Also Ukrainian planes conducted aerial reconnaissance and patrolling of the other areas. Fighting of forest fires in Israel continues.
