Black Hawk helicopters aid crews fighting Kansas wildfire

Blaze has destroyed hundreds of square miles of ranch land

Black Hawk helicopters dumped buckets of water on an immense wildfire raging across Kansas and Oklahoma on Saturday. Firefighters continue to fight the blaze which has destroyed hundreds of square miles of ranch land.

The fire, which broke out on Tuesday had scorched 400,000 acres by Friday. Officials are working to tally damage with rough estimates coming in at "thousands of bales of hay, hundreds of miles of fencing and numerous livestock."
