Zakarpattya, one of the greenest regions in Ukraine, is especially attractive in spring
Ukraine's western region of Zakarpattya is one of the most flowerful in the country.
Since the weather is much warmer this year, magnolias, cherry, and apple trees are now in full bloom. In a city of Uzhhorod there more than 1000 blooming sakura trees.
The first sakura tree was planted here about a century ago. Since then, biologists plant more and more trees because the climate seems to be just the right kind.
The trees bloom for about two weeks.
