‘Very hard day' in Donbas: Russian proxies pounding Mariupol area

Militants shelling Ukrainian positions near Mariupol with every kind of weapon

During the past day Russian proxies attacked Ukrainian positions 37 times, Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist operation HQ reports. About 80 percent of attacks were reported in the Mariupol direction. Heavy artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms was used all over the defensive lines near Azov sea.

Donetsk and Luhansk areas have also seen attacks with mortars, grenade launchers, anti-tank missiles, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms.

This information has been confirmed by a Ukrainian volunteer from Luhansk Semen Kabakayev, the coordinator of ‘Stop Terror' activists group. 

"Today was a very hard day in ATO zone. Mariupol direction have been under heaviest terrorist's fire than ever before. All available weapons were working, such as 152mm artillery, 82mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers," volunteer wrote on Facebook.

Kabakayev also commented: "I cannot say that such escalation is provoked by something or something made it happen, it's just someone became impudent and someone will soon be kicked in the teeth," get too tough. Anyway, they (Russian military – UT) always say they are not here.
