More than the half of respondents think Western countries will not accept Russian elections in annexed Crimea this or that way

Ukraine Today produced a poll to find our readers opinions on what will the West do in response to Russian elections in occupied Crimea and claims of the official Kyiv on total illegitimacy of Russian Duma due to illegal way of voting.

The largest number of respondents – 30% – came up with opinion that Western countries will react in a most radical way and admit all Russian elections and new Duma illegitimate because of voting in Crimea.

24% of readers think that elections will be admitted illegitimate only in Crimea, but Duma itself will be recognized.

9% think West may admit illegitimacy only in Crimea, but return the Russian delegation into PACE.

And almost 1/5 of all respondents (19%) suggested that Western countries won't be able to come up with the joint position on the Russian elections.

As reported, at least seven countries condemned Russian ‘elections' in Crimea yet before they started. Yesterday Ukrainian, Georgian MFAs and Freedom House representative declared the Russian elections illegal. Today Ukrainian Parliament officially recognized Russian Duma utterly illegitimate and asked the world to do the same.
