On Thursday, August 11, Ukrainian athletes are taking part in five medal events - in shooting, fencing, canoe slalom, judo, and swimming.

Currently, Ukraine's Olympic team holds the 30th position in overall medal ranking, having gained two silvers and one bronze.

Yesterday, Ukrainian gymnast Oleg Verniaiev won the second silver medal for Ukraine at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, being close to the gold victory. Japan's Kohei Uchimura beat Verniaiev by just 0.099 of a point. 

For August 11 Olympics day, Ukrainians will participate in the following competitions:
