The weekend at Rio Olympics 2016 brought another silver medal to Ukraine. The Ukrainian women's sabre fencing team beat the US team, leaving it at the third place. The Russian team succeeded to gain the lead.

On August 15, Ukrainian athletes are taking part in four medal events - in athletics, boxing, wrestling, and weightlifting.

Winning hopes for today are about athletics, where Oleh Verniaiev and Ihor Radivilov have great chances to get medals. The favorite of today's wrestling is Ukrainian athlete Zhan Beleniuk, holding a title of the world champion.

Currently, Ukraine's Olympic team is at the 33rd position in overall medal ranking, having obtained three silvers and one bronze.
