Decision was made after recommendation of the host country
Russian fans of Manchester United will not be able to support their favorite football club in the UEFA Europa League match against Ukraine's Zorya.
They have received phone notifications, saying their tickets have been cancelled, according to UNIAN.
The text of the notifications says, the decision was made due to the ‘current political situation and potential problems with the safety of the fans'.
‘The authorities of the host country recommended that we do not provide you with the tickets for the game. That is why we are nullifying your tickets', the messages say.
