Ukraine and Cyprus players pay tribute to Brussels victims

International players across Europe are expected to hold similar tributes

Ahead of the international football friendly on Thursday evening, players from Ukraine and Cyprus held a minute's silence in memory of those who lost their lives in Tuesday's bombings in Brussels.

Players gathered in the centre circle of the pitch in Ukraine's sothern city of Odesa, and stood to observe the minute's silence.

International players will be playing in friendlies across Europe this week and are expected to hold similar tributes before their matches in homage to the Brussels victims.
