Ukraine joins WADA's call to ban Russia from Olympics 2016

National Anti-Doping Agency sends a letter to IOC President

National Anti-Doping Agency of Ukraine joined the international campaign to ban Russian Federation from taking part in Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. NADA has sent an official letter to the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach to support its claim.

Ukraine expressed concerns after the result of an investigation, held by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Russian athletes were banned from Olympic competitions because of a state-sponsored cover-up of doping.

Ukrainian agency said that Russian Ministry of Sport together with state Secret Service deliberately violated the principles of the Olympic movement and the Code of Ethics of WADA.
