The fight for the WBO World Super-Featherweight Title between Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko and Jamaican Nicholas Walters took place in Las Vegas, 112.ua reports.
At the beginning both boxers were keeping distance with carefully worked jabs. But after a brief lull, they began to unfold and punch combinations. Both Lomachenko and Walters defended well, working with the body, thus avoiding punches.
But over the first three rounds Lomachenko accelerated more and more, increasing the intensity of his attacks. First Walters restrained the onslaught, but sometimes missed side and uppercut punches. It seemed that after this Walters backed down, but he was able only able to get it together for the first half of the fifth round, then Lomachenko counterattacked.
