Ukrainian swimmer wins two medals, sets new Swimming World Cup record in France

Daryna Zevina also represented Ukraine at the 2012 Olympics in London 

Ukrainian athlete Daryna Zevina won two medals and set a new record on August 26, on the first day of the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup 2016 #1 Paris-Chartres (France), Ukraine's National Olympic Committee wrote in Facebook.

"The Ukrainian swimmer took home gold in the women's 200-meter backstroke, with a time of 1: 59.35 (a World Cup's record). Daryna won the silver medal in the women's 50-metre backstroke with a time of 26.43", reads the statement.

Zevina represented Ukraine at the 2012 Olympics in London for 100-meter and 200-meter backstroke and relay contests.
